Concert Lesson

The three musicians introduce and direct the lesson by creating links between pieces of music that range from classical to traditional, to Celtic, to pop. The presentation is playful and the students are encouraged to join in, after which the musicians answer all questions and curiosities that the students and teachers might have. Depending on what is required, the lesson can turn into an actual concert for the students, their parents and the general public, held in a suitable place in the evening.

Violin performer Saule Kilaite, clarinetist Marino Delgado Rivilla and drummer/percussionist Charly Cartisano unite to present a new format: “Concert Lesson” for infant, junior and high schools. This original lesson is a fun way of introducing young students to the world of music, explaining how various instruments are used and hopefully sparking off a healthy, constructive passion for music. This format can be organized during normal school times in the classroom or in any other suitable place, and has varying lengths depending on what the school needs.
