The Quartet has a wide range of music in their repertoire: from popular classical pieces to soundtracks, from tangos to Irish dances, as well as the latest Italian and international pop music.
Famed for their skill, stage presence and elegance, the all-female ‘PICASSO STRINGS QUARTET’ has over ten years’ experience, playing numerous concerts and providing the entertainment for events organized by the most prestigious companies in the world, as well as performing on stage with the most important Italian and international artists (Laura Pausini, Eros Ramazzotti, Cesare Cremonini, David Guetta, Michael Bublé). They have also made countless appearances on all the foremost Italian TV channels (“Che tempo che fa”on Rai3; “Domenica In” on Rai1; “Buona domenica” on Mediaset; “Top of the Pops” on Italia1; “Quelli che il calcio” on Rai2). They were also the musical stars of 175 episodes of the live programme “Italia sul 2” on Rai 2 (Italy’s second public TV channel).
The group’s repertoire includes various genres of music, from classical to modern. Depending on the event, the group can contain four or more elements.
This all-male string quartet provides the entertainment at concerts, happenings or company events. The musicians are specialists in stringed instruments and concert players who have been chosen for their skill, appearance and creative synergy. Together they make up the Picasso Strings Men Project, which took part in the famous event “Amiche per l’Abruzzo” at the SanSiro stadium in Milan in favour of earthquake victims, playing beside Gianna Nannini, Elisa, Laura Pausini and many other guest stars.
